Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayTyphoon Bavi brought destructive winds, torrential rain, and massive waves to northern Taiwan. Authorities evacuated more than 14,000 residents from high-risk areas before the storm arrived. Around 1,200 domestic and international flights were canceled, while schools, government offices, and many businesses closed. Powerful winds knocked down trees, damaged infrastructure, and caused widespread power outages affecting about 177,000 customers. Heavy rainfall triggered localized flooding and increased the risk of landslides in mountainous regions. More than 100 people were injured, most of them by falling trees, flying debris, or weather-related accidents. After passing north of Taiwan, the typhoon gradually weakened, allowing recovery and repair operations to begin. Bavi then moved toward China's Zhejiang Province, where the storm continued its destructive path.
