A magnitude 4.3 earthquake just struck in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically east of Berkeley. This caused the ground to shake for about a second, with this event being felt by at least 5 million people. Yet, what made today's earthquake interesting was its origin away from the San Andreas Fault line.
