California's Central Valley, ranging from Bakersfield to Sacramento and beyond not so long ago lied several hundred feet underwater. As, during part of the Pleistocene epoch, a great lake spanning nearly 19,000 square miles known as Lake Corcoran existed there in California. Today's video will discuss this lake, how it formed, how long it lasted, and how it disappeared.
