Heavy rains are hitting Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guangxi, with some areas receiving more than 50 millimeters of rain in one hour. In Sichuan, Nanchong, Suining, Neijiang, Yibin, Luzhou, Chengdu, and Guangyuan have been affected by intense rainfall. Yunnan is also experiencing heavy downpours around Pu’er, Lincang, and Zhaotong, while Guangxi is being hit around Nanning and Qinzhou. In Jiangxi, torrential rain triggered major landslides in Suichuan County, forcing more than 18,000 residents to evacuate. Landslides have blocked roads, while rescue teams, geologists, and road crews continue clearing debris and inspecting damaged areas. At the same time, heavy rain continues across southwestern China as Jiangxi deals with the aftermath of severe landslides.
