Tropical Storm Jerry.

Forecast to make a fast sharp right turn.

Some models show it slower....

...bit more to the West

Logical as it's mediocre poorly formed storm.

You can see the convection is to the SE

The center is to the NE

Naked, circles

It's an elongated mess.

That said it can bring tropical weather to Islands.

You can see intense reds far from center.

There's a tropical storm watch.

You can see in this NHC graphics...

Going wider........

You can see it above.

The EPAC is busy.

When EPAC busy the Carib usually is not.

You can see the Carolina Low forming...

There's really not much to say today and yet here I am. There's a swirling area in the North Atlantic that really doesn't matter unless any of my readers are from that area and if so I advise you to follow the NHC on this and Meteo France! Trying to be polite, some of my friends online have used harsher language. Nice swirl, NHC seems to enjoy posting yellow 10% yellow areas in odd places this year.  It's 2025....

Models down the road... Oct 14th...

AI Models

do the logical climo tracks.

Caribbean possibilities sharp left to NE/ENE

Nothing in the Gulf.

That is good news

You can see it has an oblong wind field.

A basically small center with little convection

But Windfield is oblong to the West.

Where Islands are and there is a watch up.

Will see what NHC does at 5 PM

Maybe they want to write off the name Karen

;)

There are so many conspiracies this years...

"oh my goodness..."

I am  in NC

Enjoying cool air and open windows.

Where the low sets up...is the story.

I think I know but will write on that later.

Where it goes....is the real story.

We will see.

The question is how close this stays to the coast...

...up the coast, beyond NC

So stay tuned.

I'll update tomorrow

Hopefully  we will have more into

on the Coastal Low with no Yellow Circle

Because it's not tropical

but then neither is the yellow swirl in the N ATL.

So many questions

Besos BobbiStorm

@bobbistorm on X

X mostly weather

Elsewhere whatever

Will a storm party at Margaritaville?

Myrtle Beach is the best ;)

One of the best....
