Starting 8 August 2025, guests can begin their Singapore Flyer journey at the all-new Time Capsule.
An Immersive Journey Through the Singapore Story
Experience Singapore’s remarkable story through an interactive journey at Time Capsule, guided by R65, a time-travelling robot. In collaboration with the creative studio Untitled Project, this immersive experience transports guests back to the 1200s, revealing Singapore’s mythical legends and its fascinating origins as a trading port. Vivid full-screen video animations, projection mapping, and advanced light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology bring each historical moment to life.
Guests can stroll along an interactive Singapore River that weaves through history, and step into nostalgia at a chess-tile concrete table set before a stunning 300-degree projection wall that chronicles Singapore’s transformation.

On Level 2, guests can explore Singapore’s identity and global role through vibrant Peranakan-themed installations, LiDAR-enabled interactive games, and multimedia showcases. For a personalized experience, they can utilize the Time Capsule web app and complimentary WiFi to scan QR codes, engaging with life-sized characters ranging from traders to the indigenous Orang Laut.

Guests begin their adventure with an immersive ground-level experience before boarding the Singapore Flyer, which soars 165 meters above the city. With the FLYER360 mobile app powered by augmented reality, they gain deeper insights into nearby landmarks. Each admission ticket includes access to the Time Capsule, transforming the Singapore Flyer journey from a 30-minute ride into a captivating 75-minute exploration of Singapore’s inspiring evolution, from a humble settlement to a world-class city.
Ringo Leung, General Manager of Singapore Flyer, said, “The reimagined Singapore Flyer journey invites everyone to experience the Singapore story in an entirely fresh and entertaining way, from the ground to the sky. By integrating immersive on-ground adventures with interactive in-capsule experiences, we aim to present a fun, multifaceted perspective of Singapore that goes beyond the traditional observation wheel experience.”
