Notable eruptions last year changed portions of the Iwo Jima and Mount Etna volcanoes. Well, today I am displaying before and after videos and imagery to show exactly what changed at each volcano. At Mount Etna, a 200 foot deep and more than 1,000 foot long ravine formed, and at Iwo Jima, five large explosion craters formed.
