Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAcross Ethiopia, Colombia and Mongolia, women farmers are showing what inclusive climate action looks like in practice. Through the FAO-UNDP SCALA programme, women farmers' expertise is being translated into national policy — from certifying Indigenous women as climate experts in Colombia to embedding gender-responsive targets in Mongolia's agriculture budgets. SCALA (2021–2028) is a €26 million initiative supporting 20+ countries to strengthen climate resilience under their National Adaptation Plans and Nationally Determined Contributions, funded by Germany's Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety through its International Climate Initiative.
