A Sky News investigation has revealed the dramatic inside story of the chaos within Durham's Reform-led council. We've spoken to a dozen people linked to the council, some of whom are still Reform members. Many of them claim they are too fearful to speak out. But five who’ve defected from Reform are talking - four of them for the first time on camera. Andrew Husband has responded to our request for comment by making a series of allegations about the conduct of each of the former Reform councillors we spoke to - describing them as "desperate" and "unprofessional". He said: “Clearly they have themselves to blame. They are bitter. They are hurting, but it is fair to say they have blown it and whoever is leader they will never be Reform again … Meanwhile, we will crack on business as usual …They should perhaps set up a group called the party of envy!” In response to Sky's investigation, a Reform UK spokesman said: "This reporting by Sky News is misleading and malicious. Taking the opinions and testimonies of former Reform councillors who have been suspended for bullying and employing illegal workers as fact is not serious journalism. "Unfortunately, this is par for the course for Sky who are currently being investigated by Ofcom for harassing Nigel Farage's daughter at her own home. "Despite the best efforts of now suspended councillors to distract us, Reform's record at Durham Council has been one of success. We delivered one of the lowest council tax rates in the country and saved Durham residents tens of millions of pounds in renegotiated contracts." #cathynewman #reform #durham #ukpolitics 00:00 Inside the chaos at Reform's flagship northern council 17:22 Met Police widen investigation into Reform UK after donations allegations 20:07 Reform backer reacts to Durham investigation 29:23 Panel discuss Reform's response to scrutiny 39:30 Former US defence secretary on 9/11 anniversary 47:50 Can the UK count on America?
