The world of fashion has lost one of its all-time greats after the Italian designer Valentino Garavani died at the age of 93. He founded his fashion house in 1960 and quickly gained international acclaim, dressing some of the world's most glamorous women. His foundation says he will now lie in state in Rome before his funeral.
