There is a now a new possible tsunami threat if a volcano which is showing increasing signs of unrest were to soon erupt. I am specifically referring to Indonesia's Iya volcano, which has seen cracks form around its central crater. This indicates a zone of unstable rock which is at risk of collapsing to see to the south. While such a landslide and tsunami is for now quite unlikely, it is a possibility which is now being monitored for. This video will discuss what the height of such a tsunami might be were one to occur, along with the intensity of the Iya volcano's ongoing volcanic unrest.
