Hawaii's Kilauea volcano today produced a record setting eruption, while also generating 1,000 foot high lava fountains. This occurred in the southwest section of its summit, as more than 5 million cubic meters of lava erupted across a little more than 8 hours. Today's video will elaborate on the record that was broken and discuss when Kilauea's 46th eruptive episode might begin.
