Akiko Hart, the group's director, tells the Politics Hub, with Darren McCaffrey, that there is "no evidence" that introducing ID cards would reduce illegal immigration. She points to countries like Greece, which already have mandatory ID cards and still struggle to reduce large-scale illegal immigration.
