Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayEarlier today, a major M7.7 earthquake struck at shallow depths in Indonesia. This caused the ground to shake for 52 seconds, causing some buildings to partially or fully collapse and generating a tsunami which caused damage. This tsunami was thankfully much smaller than the 1992 tsunami in Flores, but still peaked at about 2 meters in height. Today's video will discuss the August 15th 2026 earthquake, the tsunami it generated, and why the earthquake occurred in an unusual geologic setting.
