Football writer Henry Winter has spoken to Sky News about the charges facing Manchester City ahead of their Premier League match against Liverpool on Sunday. An independent commission found that the football club used sham commercial arrangements to artificially inflate City's cost by over £900 million. The football club lodged an appeal, claiming the verdict “contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact, and is unsafe.” Despite manager Enzo Maresca and forward Erling Haaland facing the media yesterday, Winter insisted that it is "the owners who have questions to answer". #skynews #mancity #football #sports #uk SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on X: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@skynews For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-news/id316391924?mt=8 Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bskyb.skynews.android&hl=en_GB Why not listen to one of our podcasts?
