Shadow energy secretary Claire Coutinho has defended her party's leader Kemi Badenoch after a Sky News poll showed half of the party's members thought she should stand down. Ms Coutinho said not too much emphasis should be placed on "one poll" that was carried out before the start of the conference. The YouGov survey found that members would rather see Robert Jenrick lead the party into the next election.
