Google Earth recently posted new imagery post disaster of the August 26th 2026 Nepal landslide and flash flood, which may have caused more than 7,000 fatalities. I am encouraging everyone to look at this new imagery in hopes that it will inspire someone somewhere to prevent these scenes from happening elsewhere in the world in the future. Also, there are lessons and possible solutions to be learned from these new images.
