A woman who won a civil rape case against Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor says she "believed she was going to die" when McGregor assaulted her at a Dublin hotel in 2018. In an interview with Sky's Cathy Newman, Nikita Hand opened up about the "mental trauma" of the ordeal and the impact of the lawsuit on her life. She says her "bubbly" old self has "gone now" and that she's having to "learn to live with the new Nikita." Hand won £206,000 in damages plus costs from a Dublin court after a jury at Dublin's High Court found McGregor assaulted her. #NikitaHand #ConorMcGregor #CathyNewman #SkyNews #irelandnews #notaperfectvictim SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on X: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@skynews For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-news/id316391924?mt=8 Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bskyb.skynews.android&hl=en_GB Why not listen to one of our podcasts?
