Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayHave you noticed that we are getting more and more calls about situations like this? 😥 A person passes away unexpectedly, no plan in place for his pets, and all of a sudden, nine lives (some were born just weeks earlier) find themselves facing a possible call for the animal shelter (which in Los Angeles is a terrible thing). Luckily for this family of nine dogs, the woman who cared for this person knew to call Hope For Paws, and we were right there to help. Katie McKittrick and Kai Han headed over, secured all nine dogs, got them to the hospital, and now their future is secure. There is no epic rescue mission here, but it's just yet another reminder to have this honest conversation with ourselves and with our family members and make a plan in case something unexpected happens. Imagine your pet, on the worst day of his or her life when they lost you, and now their fate is unknown. Being taken to a scary shelter or thrown out to the street - it's definitely not something you want to see from above without the ability to do anything about it. It's almost the end of the year, time for our New Year's Resolutions, but the one you need to accomplish today (because you promised you'll do it last year) is to set up a plan to keep your beloved pets safe. Some people don't do it because they worry about the cost of a lawyer, so we solved that problem and partnered with FreeWill so you can complete this whole task for FREE. You can start it now, and finish it over the weekend (it only takes 15-20 minutes). Please don't let another year go by without finishing this task: https://partner.freewill.com/hopeforpaws Please let me know how this experience was for you. Meanwhile, we have to find homes for NINE more dogs, so we need your help. Our friends at LA Animal Rescue offered to foster Jacob, Bella and Edward and you can apply to adopt them here: https://www.LAAR.org Our friends at PAL Rescue offered to foster Mimi and her new kids on the block: Danny, Donnie, Joey, and Jordan.
