Have you noticed that we are getting more and more calls about situations like this? 😥 A person passes away unexpectedly, no plan in place for his pets, and all of a sudden, nine lives (some were born just weeks earlier) find themselves facing a possible call for the animal shelter (which in Los Angeles is a terrible thing). Luckily for this family of nine dogs, the woman who cared for this person knew to call Hope For Paws, and we were right there to help. Katie McKittrick and Kai Han headed over, secured all nine dogs, got them to the hospital, and now their future is secure. There is no epic rescue mission here, but it's just yet another reminder to have this honest conversation with ourselves and with our family members and make a plan in case something unexpected happens.
