The collaboration connects DreamWorks Animation, the studio behind films such as Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Wild Robot, with Jollibee, one of the Philippines’ most recognized restaurant brands. Through the partnership, Filipino fans can experience elements of the film through a limited-time Jollibee offering.

At the center of Forgotten Island are lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, voiced by Grammy and Academy Award winner H.E.R. and Filipino actress Liza Soberano. Their adventure begins when they discover a mysterious portal that transports them to Nakali, a magical island populated by mythical creatures inspired by stories passed down through their Filipino families.

The adventure comes with a difficult challenge. Jo and Raissa learn that returning home means losing their memories of each other. With the help of new allies, the two friends must navigate Nakali and find a way to protect their friendship.

The film features an international voice cast that includes Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng. The cast brings together international and Filipino talent for a story influenced by Filipino mythology and family storytelling.

For Jollibee, the partnership highlights the shared experience of spending time with family and friends over a meal.

“At Jollibee, we’ve always believed that some of life’s best memories are made around the dining table,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. She added that Forgotten Island reflects the importance of friendship and gives Filipinos another way to celebrate meaningful connections through shared meals.
