A recent notable change has occurred at Mount Pelee in the Caribbean. Its rate of volcanic earthquakes since early September has increased by nearly a factor of 4, and these levels are only continuing to increase. During the last several weeks, thousands of volcano-tectonic earthquakes have occurred alongside increased hybrid and long period events. Today's video will attempt to model what might be occurring underground at Mount Pelee through the analysis and opinion of a geologist.
