Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayA recent notable change has occurred at Mount Pelee in the Caribbean. Its rate of volcanic earthquakes since early September has increased by nearly a factor of 4, and these levels are only continuing to increase. During the last several weeks, thousands of volcano-tectonic earthquakes have occurred alongside increased hybrid and long period events. Today's video will attempt to model what might be occurring underground at Mount Pelee through the analysis and opinion of a geologist. You can view the weekly & monthly bulletins of seismic activity from Mount Pelee (by the L'Observatoire Volcanologique et Sismologique de Martinique (OVSM - IPGP) in both English and French) at: https://www.ipgp.fr/observation/ovs/ovsm/ The author of this video does not work for the above agency that monitors Mount Pelee on the French Island of Martinique. Significant amounts of opinion are involved in my analysis which could be quite wrong. There is no reason to panic and Mount Pelee and the island of Martinique are still quite safe in my opinion to visit. I might even stop by in 2026! Note: The website which hosts the L'Observatoire Volcanologique et Sismologique de Martinique (OVSM - IPGP) weekly and monthly bulletins states that statements and press releases which are made on it can be freely reused. This should mean that the weekly and monthly bulletins I am sourcing data from and quoting are ok to use.
