A nuclear bomb is the most dangerous weapon on Earth, with just one having the power to wipe out an entire city. There are currently an estimated 12,750 nuclear weapons spread across the globe. The majority belong to the US and Russia, who possess over 11,000 nuclear warheads combined, while the rest belong to countries like China, France, Pakistan, and India. Even a few smaller devices could annihilate whole cities, kill millions, and bring the planet to the brink of destruction. But what would happen if humanity banded together and launched every single nuclear warhead into space at once? How dangerous would these nukes be, and how far away would they need to travel to keep Earth safe? Ever wondered what would actually happen?
