PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District, established in 1948 and covers 138 square miles in Pueblo County (Colorado) including the areas of Avondale, Badger Hills, Blende, Boone, Dotson Reservoir, Fort Reynolds, Hamlet, Hooker Hills, Lombard Village, NA Junction, Nepesta, Vineland & Welton Ditch. The mission of Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District is to provide a Professional response to all emergencies with integrity, honor and excellence. To provide educational opportunities for the community we serve and to excel in the craft of firefighting. We strive to face all emergencies that threaten the community with urgency, and to preserve life and property at all costs.
