Deaf Dog Finds Love After Being Overlooked at Shelter for Months

Shelter animals with disabilities often face the harshest odds. Sadly, many are passed over time and time again, and in kill shelters, those with special needs are typically placed at the top of the euthanasia list. That was the heartbreaking reality for Blu, a deaf dog who sat in a shelter day after day, waiting for someone—anyone—to care.
