On Tuesday 15 September I visited Bird Lab’s banding station at Hays Woods. Migration had been intense the night before and they were having such a busy day that I forgot to take pictures. Finally things slowed down and there was time for me to meet and release a bird. Bon voyage, ovenbird!

On Friday 11 Sept I joined Three Rivers Birding Club’s outing to Sewickley Heights Park where we saw 47 species, 11 of which were warblers. Here we are walking the Pipeline Trail. See our checklist here which includes Dave Brooke’s photos.
