The Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) delivers its sentencing judgment in the case against Janjaweed militia leader Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman, also known as Ali Kushayb. On 6 October 2025, Mr Abd-Al-Rahman was found guilty by the ICC of 27 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes, in Darfur, Sudan, between August 2003 and April 2004.
