Watch live from the House of Commons as the home secretary announces sweeping reforms to policing in England and Wales. Policing is devolved in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The reforms, which were supposed to be published last year, will see officers spend more time on the streets and less at their desks. Forces will be required to respond to emergency calls in 15 minutes in urban areas and 20 minutes in rural, while a national police force, dubbed the British FBI, will be created.
