On October 15, 2025, a powerful storm with tornado-like characteristics occurred in Kuala Langat, Selangor, Malaysia, causing significant damage. At around 4:15 PM local time, a strong wind front was reported in the Telok Panglima Garang and Kempungan Medan districts, striking residential areas, schools, and public buildings. Approximately 40 residential buildings were damaged to varying degrees. Damage was also sustained to at least five schools, a local community center, offices, and infrastructure in Sijangkang Jaya, Kampung Medan, and surrounding areas. At around 5:30 PM, authorities declared a Level 1 Disaster, which requires the activation of emergency measures and coordination between municipal agencies. -
