Rising nearly 600 feet above the California Coastline is the towering monolith of Morro Rock. Often referred to as the "Gibraltar of the Pacific", this geologic oddity has been visited by humans for more than 10,000 years. But, how did it form, and how does it relate to a similar group of structures nearby known as the Nine Sisters? This video will answer these two questions through the perspective and analysis of a geologist.
