Around the globe there are more than 1,000 active or potentially active volcanoes. However, not all of these volcanoes have a traditional triangular profile. Today's video discusses all of the differing volcano types, ranging from stratovolcanoes, cinder cones, shield volcanoes, lava domes, and more. This video is being read by a volcanologist.
