This week, magma was detected moving underneath a major city in Indonesia. Meanwhile, off the coast of Mexico, a somewhat unexpected submarine eruption was occurred at a tectonic plate boundary. And, in Hawaii, the Kilauea volcano produced spectacular 500 foot high lava fountains via the 20th recent eruptive episode of this shield volcano. This video will discuss all of these news stories and list the 49 volcanoes which are actively erupting around the planet.
