FORT WORTH, Texas — Four Houston firefighters were hospitalized after a tractor-trailer struck their fire engine on the Eastex Freeway.
The crash happened on Nov. 30 near the Northpark Drive entrance ramp, where the fire engine was blocking traffic for an earlier wreck, FOX 26 reported. The semi hit the engine, injuring four firefighters and the truck driver. All were taken to the hospital with varying injuries and are expected to recover.

The cause of the crash is under investigation
