For years, UNDP Egypt and the Government of Germany have worked together to drive progress and build a more sustainable, resilient Egypt. This video is an overview of the milestones achieved. Through the UNDP-FAO SCALA programme, with funding from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) through its International Climate Initiative (IKI), we've helped Egypt adapt agricultural practices, reduce emissions, and enhance food security. Additionally, through Germany's support, Egypt has developed innovative solutions to increase climate resilience and protect vulnerable communities from climate risks. Further featured, the UNDP Accelerator Labs, supported by Germany, empowers small-scale farmers in climate-vulnerable areas and women and youth in green sectors.
