Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is being held in a detention centre in Brooklyn after being brought to New York by boat and plane by his US captors. In an interview with NBC's Meet The Press, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared to downplay the stakes, insisting that America is 'not at war' with Venezuela. Mr Maduro will be moved to a courthouse in Manhattan and will face a number of charges, including drug running, with reports suggesting he could appear in court within the next day.
