Why do so many people, numbering in the hundreds of millions, live on or near an active volcano? This may sound like a silly question, but there are a number of vital reasons for this. The main one of which regards how profitable volcanic soils can be. Today's video will elaborate on this and other points to explain why so many people live in areas potentially at some form of long term volcanic risk.
