The Department of Tourism (DOT) is tapping into the global reach of P-Pop with a new digital campaign that invites fans of BINI and SB19 to discover more about the Philippines.

DOT Launches BINI and SB19 Travel Microsites

DOT Launches BINI and SB19 Travel Microsites

The tourism agency is launching dedicated travel microsites for its newest Tourism Ambassadors, BINI and SB19, giving fans a new way to explore destinations connected to the two groups while encouraging them to travel closer to home.

The launch comes after a series of teasers posted on the Tourism Philippines social media accounts sparked excitement among BLOOMs and A’TIN, the respective fan communities of BINI and SB19. Within less than 24 hours, the posts had already generated more than 100,000 engagements on Facebook.

From P-Pop fandom to Philippine travel

More than just promotional pages, the new microsites combine fandom, travel inspiration, and special tourism offers.

Fans can explore the dream destinations of individual BINI and SB19 members, with discounted travel packages available for select destinations through DOT-accredited tourism partners. The offers can be accessed through the official DOT website.

The microsites also give fans opportunities to participate and share their own travel stories.

BLOOMs can submit their favorite travel photos and captions via #BloomTrails, featuring destinations they love or places on the BINI members’ dream destinations list.

For A’TIN, the platform offers an interactive feature that lets fans leave short dedication messages alongside their favorite SB19 songs.

It is a clever way of turning the emotional connection fans have with their favorite artists into inspiration for actual trips around the country.

Why BINI and SB19 matter to Philippine tourism

Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay said the influence of Filipino artists can extend well beyond music and entertainment.

“Pinoy talents like BINI and SB19 are very much able to influence audiences, drive travel, and generate real economic activity wherever they go,” Secretary Mathay said.

She noted that an artist’s influence can encourage fans to visit destinations, stay in hotels, dine at local restaurants, experience attractions, and discover places they may not have considered visiting before.

That connection between entertainment and travel can have a direct impact on local communities, particularly destinations outside major urban centers.

For tourism businesses, every trip can mean additional spending on accommodations, transportation, food, tours, attractions, shopping, and other experiences.

Part of the Discover More To Love campaign

The new microsites are part of the second phase of the DOT’s Discover More To Love domestic tourism campaign, which was launched in June 2026.

The campaign encourages Filipinos to explore destinations within the country by making travel more accessible through discounted airfares, hotel rates, and attraction fees.

The initiative also aims to support businesses throughout the tourism industry, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, attractions, and other tourism-related enterprises.

With international fuel costs continuing to affect travel expenses, the DOT sees stronger domestic tourism as one way to keep demand moving within the Philippines.

For travelers, that means more reasons to consider a weekend getaway, an island escape, a food trip, or a long-awaited visit to a destination closer to home.

For communities, increased domestic travel can help keep tourism income circulating locally.

BINI and SB19 take the Philippines to the world

The partnership between the DOT and the two P-Pop groups also reflects their growing international presence.

Since being named Tourism Ambassadors, BINI and SB19 have worked with the DOT to promote Philippine destinations during their activities in the country and overseas.

The DOT has likewise highlighted its international achievements as they continue to represent Filipino talent on the global stage.

BINI is currently taking its music to international audiences through the Signals World Tour, while SB19 recently made its debut at Lollapalooza. Both groups are also set to perform at the Summer Sonic Music Festival in Japan, giving them another major platform to showcase Filipino music and culture.

Their growing international fanbases present an opportunity for Philippine tourism to reach travelers who may already have an emotional connection to the country through its artists.

A new way to discover the Philippines

Travel inspiration does not always begin with a destination brochure or a bucket-list attraction. Sometimes, it starts with a song, an artist, or a place associated with someone you admire.

That is the opportunity the DOT is exploring through its BINI and SB19 microsites.

For fans, the campaign offers another reason to turn online fandom into real-world adventures. For the tourism industry, this demonstrates how Filipino pop culture can help generate interest in destinations and encourage spending within local communities.

As travelers become more intentional about where they go and how they spend their money, the DOT hopes the campaign will encourage more Filipinos to look beyond the familiar and discover the many places worth exploring within the Philippines.

For BINI and SB19 fans, the next favorite destination could be closer than they think.
