In North Macedonia there is a strange geologic oddity simply known as Duvalo, which is often called the only volcano in the Balkans. And yet, despite venting a combination of thousands of tons of carbon dioxide & sulfur dioxide gas, Duvalo is not part of a volcano or volcanic in any way. So, why does this strange feature exist? Today's video attempts to answer this question through the perspective of a geologist.
