The exhibition showcases sustainable, locally produced footwear proudly designed in the Philippines by local designers and artisans, supported by advancements in textile and footwear technology. Additionally, it highlights Team Philippines’ accomplishments at the International Footwear Design Competition (IFDC), an annual international event organized by the Confederation of International Footwear Alliance, celebrating excellence in footwear design, innovation, and creativity.

One of the highlighted works is “Pakan” by Ricmar Agas, produced by Konzept Shoes. It achieved the status of Overall Grand Champion in all categories and won the Grand Prize Gold Award at IFDC 2026, a first for the Philippines. The design is inspired by Philippine handloom weaving traditions and features fabrics from the Ilocos Region, including weaving details like shuttles, yarns, and spindles.
