The dinosaur that started it all… 🦖 In 1824, Megalosaurus became the first dinosaur to be scientifically described - although at the time, nobody knew quite what a dinosaur was! (as the name didn't even exist yet...) In this video, we explore over 200 years of Megalosaurus history, from its earliest discoveries in Oxfordshire and changing reconstructions to what the fossils tell us today.
