At 10 years old, Toby has already been through more than his new family may ever know. The fluffy white rescue dog was found living on the streets, hungry and neglected, before a chance connection brought him into the life of Priscilla Presley. Now, instead of struggling to survive outdoors, Toby has a loving home, a cozy place to sleep, and someone who absolutely adores him.

The 81-year-old actress and longtime animal advocate introduced her newest family member in an Instagram video shared on October 13, 2026. With Toby sitting comfortably in her lap, Priscilla gently rubbed his ears and shared how the senior pup found his way into her care. And judging by her glowing description of him, Toby has already made quite an impression.

From Life on the Streets to a Loving Home

Toby’s journey to Priscilla began when someone familiar with her love for animals told her about a dog who needed help. The little pup had been living on the streets, and his circumstances were far from what any dog deserves.

Priscilla explained that Toby was in poor condition when he was first rescued. He hadn’t received proper care and had been going hungry, making his healthy appearance in the video especially meaningful.

“He was not taken care of. He was starving,” she shared, explaining that she still doesn’t know how Toby ended up alone.

Whether Toby had wandered away from a previous home or had been living without a family remains a mystery. But when Priscilla learned about his situation, she was able to offer him the stability and care he needed.

Toby Has Already Become the Perfect Companion

Despite everything he experienced before his rescue, Toby has adjusted beautifully to his new surroundings. Priscilla described him as affectionate, well-behaved, and surprisingly energetic for a dog his age.

She also revealed one particularly sweet detail about his new routine. Toby now sleeps beside her at night, making himself right at home with his new favorite person.

“He’s so loving and listens,” Priscilla said, adding that patience has been an important part of helping him settle in.

And Toby isn’t just winning over Priscilla. She happily shared that everyone loves him, describing her new companion as a wonderful addition to the family.

Another Senior Rescue Welcomes Toby Home

Of course, joining a household with another dog can sometimes take a little adjustment. Fortunately for Toby, he also has a new canine companion who seems perfectly happy to share his home.

Priscilla is already the proud dog mom of Boz, a 15-year-old rescue who has been part of her life for many years. She revealed that the two senior dogs have been getting along wonderfully, something she was especially relieved to see.

According to Priscilla, Boz accepted Toby without the difficulties she had worried might arise when introducing another dog. Toby returned that acceptance, and the pair have settled into life together.

Boz has his own special rescue story. Priscilla previously shared that she traveled from California to Arizona to adopt him after seeing a newspaper plea asking someone to save him.

A New Chapter Filled With Second Chances

Priscilla’s love for rescue animals has been a constant throughout her life. In April 2026, she shared a touching tribute to another beloved rescue dog, Ridley, after his passing. She remembered how she had rescued Ridley years earlier when he needed help and how he later became a comforting presence in her own life. His loss was clearly deeply felt, making the arrival of another dog in need a meaningful new chapter for her family.

Now Toby is experiencing the kind of life every senior rescue deserves. He has a safe home, an accepting canine companion, and a person who appreciates the loving dog he has become. For Priscilla, the most important thing isn’t knowing every detail of Toby’s past. It’s being able to care for him today, and she couldn’t be happier with the little friend who has joined her family.
