A powerful storm is battering southern China, bringing torrential rain and strong winds to Guangxi and Guangdong. Typhoon Narra is driving powerful rain bands and gusty winds across the region. Strong gusts are shaking trees, breaking large branches, and knocking trees onto roads. Heavy rain is sharply reducing visibility, making driving and movement difficult. Roofs, roadside structures, and other light objects are also vulnerable to the powerful winds. Stormy conditions are expected to continue across southern China as the tropical system moves along the coast.
