The most famous stratovolcano in the Azores had its alert level raised last week. Specifically, the towering Mount Pico, which due to a swarm of earthquakes had its alert level raised from V0 to V1. Today's video discusses this earthquake swarm, identifies a potential culprit, and notes the other two earthquake swarms this year from the Cachorro volcanic (subsystem).
