Striking at shallow depths, it appears that MMI 10, or if not, at least MMI 9 intensity shaking occurred in some spots, leading to some buildings and structures partially or fully collapsing. Today's video will discuss why this earthquake occurred, and its relation to the Futagawa-Hinagu Fault Zone through the knowledge and analysis of a geologist.
