The Taal volcano recently produced one of its strongest eruptions of the last half decade, sending pyroclastic surges to inundate an area of 1.21 square kilometers. This eruption was picturesque but thankfully harmed no one, since Taal Island has remained off limits. Today's video will discuss this eruption through the knowledge and analysis of a geologist.
