Heavy rainfall has caused severe flooding in Tripoli, Libya, submerging streets, trapping vehicles, and inundating residential and commercial buildings. Major roads, including part of the Second Ring Road, have been closed because of accumulated floodwater. Municipal crews are working to pump out water and restore drainage across affected areas. Flooding has also disrupted electricity supplies after water entered the grounds of several electrical substations. The Libyan Red Crescent has warned residents to avoid flooded roads, deep water, and dangerous electrical equipment.
